Story of Mohamed Kamara

Mohamed is a young talented teacher and did all his schooling at Hakeem. Mohamed was sponsored by Hakeem founding members. Mohamed lost both parents when he was just 11 years old. Mohamed achieved outstanding results in his exams and still dream to continue his education to become a medical doctor. The school committee is working with him to see that his dreams are achieved as the community is desperate for doctors.

"My life is very different today because I was given the opportunity to attend school. Imagine what can happen if all these children have no opportunity to attend school, not because they don't want to but their parents can't afford to send them. The cost of whole year schooling for primary students is less than $200."
