Story of Isatu Sessay

Mbalu Isatu Sesay has been involved with Hakeem School since the beginning of the school Foundation as a student and now as a teacher in the School. Mbalu Isatu Sesay grew up in the community of Calaba Town. She lost her father during the civil war at the age of 5 and at the age of 8, she lost her mother and since then- Hakeem School Foundation has supported her and her siblings – Sulaiman Kamara and Mariatu Kamara also attend Hakeem School and both have their children attending the school. Schooling in Calaba Town was particularly difficult for Mbalu Isatu Sesay. She has no one to support her and her siblings and Hakeem Schools Foundation is privileged to work with her and see her grow. Mbalu Isatu Sesay is determined to continue teaching at Hakeem and continue to inspire kids to attain quality Education.
